When exchanging currency in the Cashterminal Wallet electronic money account, when making a credit transfer or a cash deposit into the Cashterminal Wallet electronic money account, the issuer applies the exchange rates stated above. Currency exchange on cash deposits is only possible when depositing an amount in Bulgarian lev (BGN) into a Cashterminal Wallet electronic money account held in a different currency.

When making payments with your Cashterminal Wallet Card in a currency other than the currency of your Cashterminal Wallet Card, the issuer applies the exchange rates stated above. Information on the applied exchange rate and any fee charged is available in the transaction history.

Exchange rates are updated regularly based on the wholesale exchange rates at which the issuer purchases foreign currency.

When topping up your Cashterminal Wallet account with a payment card issued by another financial institution, that other financial institution – the issuer of the payment card – determines the applicable exchange rate and currency exchange fees to be charged. In this case, you should inform yourself in advance about the applicable exchange rates and currency exchange fees charged by the other financial institution – the issuer of the payment card with which you top up your Cashterminal Wallet account. Cashterminal Wallet is not responsible for the applicable exchange rates and currency exchange fees charged by another financial institution – the issuer of the payment card with which you top up your Cashterminal Wallet account.
